The second Metal Gear Survive beta has gone live ahead of its projected February 16 launch. Whether you're playing on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, you can now jump into the game right now and try out the game's co-op mode for the first time ahead of the official launch on February 20. The news comes by way of an official press release, and I can confirm -- come and get it, Metal Gear Survive fans!

If you decide to jump in and try it out ahead of release, you'll get some goodies to take with you into the full game, such as a FOXHOUND name plate, a Metal Gear Rex head accessory, and a bandana accessory. At the very least, you know you'll be able to stroll into the game looking stylish.

Metal Gear Survive is a massive departure from the Metal Gear you may know and love, especially if you're looking for stealth action or Hideo Kojima's signature storytelling style. Instead, it incorporates special survival-based elements with online multiplayer, co-op, and single-player modes.

If you're interested in testing out the beta, you only need to nab the beta version of the game via Steam, Xbox One or PlayStation 4 on the various storefronts. If you didn't delete the game from your first beta experience, simply choose the appropriate launcher, log in, and enjoy the carnage. There's additional information, including everything you need to know about the game's online requirements and more at the official site

While the beta is live through February 18, you'll be able to access three different missions and two maps within the confines of co-op mode. There's also a selection of daily missions to get out in, if you so choose.

Metal Gear Survive will be up for grabs on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Wednesday, February 21.
