It's Friday, which means Xur will arrive in Destiny 2 once again. By now, dedicated Guardians should have most of the items that he likes to sell, but it's always wise to top off your collection if you're missing any of his goodies.
Where is Xur?
Xur is on Io, hanging out in his favorite location in the Giant's Scar region. You can fast travel close by, and set a waypoint for him by clicking his icon on the map.
What is Xur Selling?
Some of Xur's items will remain the same each week. Currently, he sells the Three of Coins, which you shouldn't pick up. Xur also sells a Fated Engram, a great way to acquire the exotics that are still missing from your collection. Sign into Destiny 2 with a character that doesn't have all the exotics, then buy a Fated Engram from Xur. This will assure that you get something that you don't already have, including missing exotic weapons.
- Jade Rabibit Exotic Scout Rifle - 29 Legendary Shards
- Raiden Flux Exotic Hunter Chest Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
- Synthoceps Exotic Titan Gauntlets - 23 Legendary Shards
- Karnstein Armlets Exotic Warlock Gauntlets - 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins - 31 Legendary Shards (Do Not Buy)
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
What Should You Buy?
You should buy whatever you don't already own. The weapon meta will change, and owning every exotic item in the game is the smart thing to do. Nobody knows what will be good in the next few years as the game progresses. Fill your mantle with exotic goodies and don't stop until you have them all.
Xur is here until the Destiny 2 reset, so you have a few days to earn the Legendary Shards he craves if you're running short. If you need help finding the best use for your exotic weapons and armor, be sure to visit the Shacknews Destiny 2 complete strategy guide.
