Xur has returned for another week, mumbling weird things to himself and selling the exotic items that you hope will finish off your collection. As per usual, we’re here to tell you where you can find the Agent of the Nine, and what you should buy, assuming you’re one of those Guardians on a budget.
Where is Xur?
Xur is spending the weekend on Nessus, where you at least get to hear the random chatter of Failsafe. More specifically, he's in Watcher's Grave. You can fast travel almost directly to him, summon your sparrow, and then make your way to his hidout in the tree.
What is Xur Selling?
Xur still doesn't come to Destiny 2 with the same amount of inventory that he did the original Destiny. Currently, he sells the Three of Coins each week, which you shouldn't pick up. I'm not sure if they're still bugged, but you have lots of time to finish of your exotic collection before more are released, so why bother? Xur also sells a Fated Engram, which is a fantastic way to finish off your exotic collection. Log into Destiny 2 with a character who is missing exotic armor, snag a Fated Engram, and you'll get one of the items you're missing. If you have all the armor (like myself) but want a weapon, the Fated Engram will work for that as well.
- The Prospector Exotic Grenade Launcher - 29 Legendary Shards
- Lucky Raspberry Exotic Hunter Chest Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
- An Insurmountable Skullfort Exotic Titan Helmet - 23 Legendary Shards
- Ophidian Aspect Exotic Warlock Gauntlets - 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins - 31 Legendary Shards (Do Not Buy)
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
What Should You Buy?
I believe that you should buy anything that you don't currently own. Not all exotics are created equal, but why not complete your collection? After all, Destiny 2 is about collecting things, and you never know how patches and tweaks of the future will change the meta of the game. Grab it all, Guardian.
Xur will exit Destiny 2 on Tuesday when the weekly reset hits. If you need help finding the best use for your exotic weapons and armor, be sure to visit the Shacknews Destiny 2 complete strategy guide.
