Noctis Warps into Third Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Open Beta

The last of the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT open betas is set to begin on Thursday afternoon and this one will feature Final Fantasy XV's Noctis.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is set to open its doors for a third and final PS4 open beta on Thursday afternoon. And while one would imagine that this beta will look the same as the ones that came before it, this third round will have a little something extra: Final Fantasy XV's Noctis.

Those who have played Final Fantasy XV are aware of Noctis' Warp ability. It will come fully intact in this game, allowing this Assassin character to pounce on his enemies quickly. He'll also be able to active his Armiger when his health reaches a low point.

Noctis will join the third beta's playable roster, which contains a mixture of playable characters from the first two betas. They include:

  • Garland (Vanguard)
  • Squall (Assassin)
  • Kefka (Marksman)
  • Onion Knight (Specialist)
  • Cloud of Darkness (Vanguard)
  • Cloud Strife (Vanguard)
  • Zidane (Assassin)
  • Ultimecia (Marksman)
  • Bartz (Specialist)
  • Jecht (Assassin)
  • Shantotto (Marksman)
  • Ramza (Specialist)
  • Sephiroth (Vanguard)
  • Ace (Marksman)

The Dissidia Final Fantasy NT open beta is set to go live this afternoon at 1PM PT and run until January 21. More information can be found on the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT website.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
