Injustice 2 Falls for The Enchantress Next Week

Prior to Friday's Injustice 2 livestream, NetherRealm offered a new trailer for Suicide Squad villain, The Enchantress.

As promised, NetherRealm took this Friday to dive back into Injustice 2 for the game's latest character. The Enchantress was revealed as part of a Friday livestream, but prior to that, players were treated to a new trailer.

The Suicide Squad villainess can be seen wielding various magical abilities, which not only include projectiles, but also include a number of other abilities. Special moves include mind control, magical parries, and necromancy. Her Super Move involves using her magic to take her opponent's very soul and use it to beat them up. (Oh, and yes, she does a silly dance first.)

The Enchantress will be available to everyone that picked up Fighter Pack #3 or the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition on Tuesday, Jaunary 9. Those looking to try her out first before making any purchases can simply jump into Injustice 2's Multiverse mode, where Enchantress will be playable on one of the ladders.

There's also more set to come to Injustice 2 in the coming weeks. A brand new patch will be made available this Monday. On top of that, a Black Lightning Multiverse event is set to begin on Sunday, January 14 to help lead into The CW's "Black Lightning" television series that's set to debut that same week.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
