Blizzard rocked the house at the BlizzCon 2017 opening ceremony with a plethora of announcements across all of their properties (except Diablo) and Overwatch fans got a treat with the introduction of new hero Moira and the Blizzard World map. Excitement for the game is high and the developers are taking advantage by hosting a free weekend across all platforms from November 17 - 20.

PC, PS4, and Xbox One players will have full access to Overwatch during that time frame, including all 26 available heroes and all 16 maps. Note that number "26"? Savvy Overwatch players know that this means the new hero announced at BlizzCon, Moira, will be released by this point. Unfortunately, having 16 maps means that Blizzard World won't likely be finished by this point.

Moira is a support healer and one of our writers went hands-on with her at BlizzCon 2017. If you participate in the free weekend and decide to purchase the game, all progress earned during the weekend will carry over. The exact length of Overwatch's next free weekend is November 17 at 11:00 a.m. PT to 11:59 p.m. PT on November 20.
