Destiny 2 Trials of the Nine Closed For Bug Extermination

A few bugs and glitches involving emotes have forced the Bungie's hand.

Trials of the Nine is Destiny 2's 4v4 Crucible endgame content that goes live every weekend until the Tuesday reset. Due to some unfortunate bugs that allow players to use emotes to maneuver out of bounds, Bungie is delaying the next two Trials of the Nine events with plans to bring it back online on November 3, 2017.

The sad news comes via the weekly "This Week At Bungie" blog post that released yesterday. Courtesy of a report from Kotaku, it looks like this is an additional response to Bungie's previous move to remove the "Bureaucratic Walk" because the emote was being used to clip out of bounds. When it does return, take note of the best weapons for Trials so you have an advantage over the competition.

This is unfortunate, but there's still plenty to experience. Xur has arrived right on schedule and we've put together a list of what he's selling this weekend in addition to breaking down where you can find him. The Leviathan Prestige Raid is live as well, so you can gather your fireteam and/or clan mates to try to complete the difficult task. Clan Redeem was the first to finish it, but they used a glitch in their race to be the first.
