Noctua Finally Discovers the Color Black

The Austrian fan maker gives builders what they want.

In an announcement that will shock the PC hardware industry to the core, respected PC fan manufacturer Noctua has revealed its new line of Chromax fans and accessories. Unlike the turd blossom-colored fans that made the company famous, the Chromax line will give customers Noctua quality without the side effect of having your PC look like it's loaded with salted caramels.

This is what a build using the classic Noctua fans would look like

In addition to the fans, the Chromax introduction also provides multi-color bumpers for noise reduction and will help PC builders add a touch of color to the assembly. New Chromax fan accessory kits offer up the famous Noctua cable kit in a variety of colors. Heatsink covers for the company’s CPU heatsinks are also available and will offer a nice visual match to the other Chromax products.

At this time, only a few of Noctua’s most popular PWM fans are receiving the Chromax treatment, including the NF-A15, NF-A14, NF-F12, and NF-S12A. The new fans will have the colored bumpers included in the package. Like children, these fans are meant to be seen, not heard.

Their industrial fans are black, but they still have the brown bumpers, which isn't the most appealing look. IIRC, they also had one random gray model, but the specs on it were pretty meh.

Hah my 3d printer even has a flesh-colored noctua fan on it- it was the cheapest one I could find of the exact size

Amazing products but I know people who were turned away simply because of the colors. Its a silly complaint but hopefully this turns more people around

You don’t use screws. Noctua fans come with rubber “rivets”
