South Park: The Fractured But Whole went gold in late September and the release is right around the corner on October 17, so it is no surprise that the producers of the television show have prepared a treat for launch. If you've seen any trailers for the game, you'll know that part of it directly mocks the movie universes being cultivated by Marvel and DC Comics. Tonight's episode of South Park embraces the parody even more with an episode called "Franchise Prequel" as a lead-in to the game.

The tease for the episode features what looks to be Mark Zuckerberg, who took the stage today during Oculus Connect to introduce the Oculus Go and, hopefully, VR jokes will fly during the episode.

South Park is known for its incredibly timely humor and the anticipation for the game has been building up with each reveal, including the details involving how difficulty and character creation both work in the game. "Franchise Prequel" will aire on Comedy Central tonight at 10 P.M. EST. South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17. If you're a PC user, we've got the breakdown of requirements ready for you.
