Overwatch offered up frights for its first Halloween season in 2016 with Halloween Terror. The event featured new skins, costumes, voice lines, poses, and more. Now it's looking like Blizzard is ready to go trick-or-treating again with Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017.

Few details are included in the Overwatch Tweet issued on Tuesday afternoon. There's a quick look at new skins for McCree and Reaper and a start date of Tuesday, October 10.

The 2016 event featured glowing jack-o-lanterns packed with cosmetic items, as well as the Junkenstein's Revenge PvE brawl that saw players team up against a costumed Junkrat, Roadhog, and a slew of zombies. More details are expected in the coming days, so stay tuned.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
