While many are currently reeling from the trials of Cuphead, there was another quite difficult game that came out earlier this year. Nioh is a critically acclaimed hardcore RPG that did some pretty solid numbers on PS4 and, now, it's coming to PC in the form of a Complete Edition on November 7, 2017.

Set in a fictionalized version of Japan in the Sengoku period, players took on the role of a sailor named William as he defeats the yokai under the employ of Hattori Hanzo. In our review of Nioh, the game was celebrated for its tight combat, exceptional level design, and evolution of the...you guessed it...Dark Souls formula. Despite Dark Souls comparisons being tossed around like dough in a pizza establishment, Nioh is certainly one of the games that improved upon the tough action gameplay made popular by the Souls franchise.

“Team NINJA is well aware of the fact that many gamers have been passionately asking for a PC version of Nio," says game director Fumihiko Yasuda in the press release. "I am thrilled to announce that this game will finally be available for our die-hard PC fans in Nioh: Complete Edition! I hope you all enjoy the unforgettable drama and deeply challenging Yokai battles this action-packed experience has to offer.”

The Complete Edition of Nioh will include three DLC expansions: Dragon of the North, Defiant Honour, and Bloodshed's End. It will also include enhanced visual modes for PC players that crave peak performance. Action mode will feature a stable 60fps experience while Movie Mode displays the game in 4k. The Steam release will also feature a unique helmet called the Wheel of Dharma but it's also nicknamed the "Valve Kabuto". We have no pics of the helmet, but you can guess why it'll be called that.

Once the PC version drops November 17, feel free to use our guide and walkthrough and possibly to attempt to top the record speed-run of the game
