Three More Switch Titles Come to the Nintendo eShop

This week’s digital releases are live on the Nintendo eShop, and the bounty consists of three new Switch games.

Every Thursday, Nintendo of America adds new games to the eShop. Additions usually include a mix of Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and sometimes Wii U titles, but this week the lineup was a little on the small side and consisted of just three new Switch releases as Nintendo focuses most of its attention on the impending arrival of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

Forma.8, the first of the week’s new releases, is a platformer title with a dark foreground and colorful backdrops, visually reminiscent of Limbo. It was already available on PC and a variety of consoles, and even came to Wii U in late February of this year.

Piczle Lines DX is a new puzzle game from Score Studios. That developer appears to have worked exclusively on iOS titles until now, and in fact, one of its previous releases on that other platform was Piczle Lines in 2010. The goal of the game is to draw lines between colored nodes on a grid, which eventually reveals a pixelated image as your reward.

Finally, there is ACA NeoGeo Puzzled, another entry in the growing lineup of NeoGeo ports. It is a “stacking” puzzle game, similar in a lot of ways to Tetris or Columns, and was originally developed by SNK. Hamster has been bringing new installments in the apparently successful line to Switch on a weekly basis, though eventually it is bound to run out of classics to refurbish.

Customers who are anxious to build their Nintendo Switch library can find dozens upon dozens of titles on the eShop service, where they can make purchases using either a credit card or a card purchased at a major retail outlet. Do you see any additions this week that you would like to add to your digital library?
