Out of nowhere, Bandai Namco arrived with Dragon Ball FighterZ and started to dominate the conversation involving new and upcoming fighting games. Those waiting to get their hands on the 2.5D fighter now have an opportunity to register for the beta and Bandai Namco has also shared information on the game’s launch, preorders, and the contents of a limited edition version.

If you’re chomping at the bit to try out Dragon Ball FighterZ, registration is open for Xbox One and PS4 users. For Xbox, you must use the Xbox Insider Hub to register and PS4 users just fill out a form on the website with an option for a VIP code if you’ve received one. The FighterZ beta schedule for PS4 is below and the Xbox One schedule may be similar.

In addition to the beta’s launch, the press release from Gamescom 2017 revealed plans for a European edition called the CollectorZ Edition. The edition comes with a 18cm Goku diorama, three art boards, and a steel-book. It will also include the two bonus characters you receive if you preorder.

The preorder offer centers on Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta, who were both mentioned in a translated bit of news that revealed Android 18 and Android 16’s inclusion in FighterZ’s roster. In our report, it was questioned if those two characters would be standalone or transformation but now we know they’re their own individual characters for certain.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta will run on September 16th and September 17th. There will be an open beta before the game’s launch in February and details will be shared in the near future, likely after the closed beta is completed.
