If Uncharted 4 was the end of Nathan Drake and family's tale, Uncharted: Lost Legacy may be giving us a glimpse of what the future holds for the series. Though fan-favorite Chloe Frazer was missed throughout 4, Nadine Ross was a wonderful addition with quite an imposing presence and it will be interesting to see what an adventure focused on the two will deliver. We've seen what the pair can bring to cinematic sequences and some scarce scatterings of gameplay but, now, we've got a full 13-minute clip that shows off the open exploration of the Western Ghats in India.

The gameplay begins with Chloe getting a view from up high of this large area right before she heads down to jump into an all-terrain vehicle with Nadine. The areas for open-exploration were a change to the Uncharted formula initially introduced in Uncharted 4 and the space in this clip feels a bit denser than what that game had to offer.

After some stealth combat where Chloe takes down an entire squad of soldiers, the two lead women travel to another spot where we see the vehicle's winch function put to use. This was an element that really brought Uncharted 4's open areas to life and it looks like it will get the same attention in Lost Legacy. You'll also catch a couple new additions to gameplay like a personal map you can pull up and the ability to pick the locks of supply crates to acquire better gear. Toward the end, we get a bit more combat right before a tease of inevitable puzzle gameplay right at the close.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy comes PS4 on August 22nd as a standalone title, but Nadine Ross is initially introduced to the Uncharted series in Uncharted 4.
