Finnish company HMD Global Oy made a splash in February when it unveiled new Android smart phones under the Nokia brand. The Nokia 3, 5, and 6 were rather well received by users, but it still left Nokia without a true powerhouse to go against the iPhone and Samsung. A new design leak suggests that a flagship device is now on its way.

The unofficially-named Nokia 8 was actually part of a leaked video showing the 3, 5, and 6 back in May, but the fourth phone had no identity. The video showed that what we now know as the Nokia 8 seems to pull from aspects of the three previous phones, according to VentureBeat. Not much is known yet about the actual specs, but the phone is expected to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Rumors have Nokia announcing the new device on July 31, and the FCC has recently added an HMD Global TA-1012 model number into its database. Benchmarks for that unit show it running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, with 4GB or 6GB options for RAM. It also lists two main cameras with 13-megapixel resolutions and special optics.

German site WinFuture reported that a Scandinavian retailer listed the unit for about $675, with blue, steel, gold/blue, and gold/copper options.
