Janina Gavankar took the stage to formally announce her role of Iden Versio, leader of the Inferno Squad in Star Wars Battlefront 2, as well as to further discuss what to expect from the story mode of the game.
During her time on stage, she confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will contain an expansive story mode unique to the game that should have players clamoring for single-player content cheering. The game is poised to feature all three eras of the Star Wars narrative, taking place after Revenge of the Jedi and just before The Force Awakens. A common complaint with the original game was its lack of single-player content, and it seems as though EA has been listening and taking fan feedback into account to avoid these kinds of digs on the game going forward.
If you were on the fence previously about fully committing to the next Battlefront game, this single-player content may very well be what tips the scales in favor of taking a copy home. Hopefully we'll hear additional details on the content in the week to come during E3 2017.
