Madden NFL 18 is getting a new story mode, called Longshot. EA released a new trailer showing off the basics for the mode to kick off EA Play Live today.

The story will follow a University of Texas player named Wade that dropped out of football, but is trying to make a comeback with an NFL team.

EA's story mode in its sports games first showed up in FIFA 17, and proved popular enough that EA is now bringing it to Madden.
