The Elder Scrolls Legends card game has been out in beta for a few months, but that has now come to an end as the game launches into the wild on Steam, Mac, and Android tablets today for free.

The new release includes a Spectator mode, a "first iteration" that allows players to view live games of Friends list players. Bethesda plans to keep updating this feature in future releases over the next several months, based on player feedback.

New Gauntlet tournament events have also been added, allowing for players to jockey for position and bragging rights on a worldwide leaderboard. The best players can earn card packs, gold, and other in-game prizes. The events will vary in size, entry cost, and what prizes are available.

The game has been out for Apple tablets since March. Versions for Android and iOS phones are expected sometime this summer.
