Phoenix Online Studios has announced that it is officially starting its own publishing label, called Phoenix Online Publishing, devoted to indie games.

Jane Jensen's new "metaphysical thriller" of an adventure game Moebius: Empire Rising will launch for PC and Mac on April 15, publisher Phoenix Online announced today. It's the first game from her crowdfunded studio Pinkerton Road, and, so Phoenix says, the first she's "completely overseen" since Gabriel Knight 3.

After completing the remarkable accomplishment of its King's Quest fan-sequel The Silver Lining, Phoenix Online Studios set out to make a new adventure game of its own, Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller. The supernatural click 'em up's first episode will fittingly arrive just before Halloween, publisher Reverb announced yesterday, on October 30 for PC and Mac.

The team behind the King's Quest fan sequel The Silver Lining today announced its new, original adventure game Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller. Gabriel Knight creator Jane Jensen is serving as a story consultant.
