Former Draw Something studio CEO leaves Zynga

Dan Porter, the former CEO of OMGPOP who took over as vice president of Zynga's New York office after the studio was acquired, has decided to leave the company.

Zynga shutters Baltimore studio, consolidates others

Zynga has announced it is shutting down the Baltimore office, and consolidating locations in New York, Dallas, and Austin.

Zynga's chief game designer resigns, wants to work with smaller team

The talent loss at struggling social game company Zynga continues as the company's chief game designer Brian Reynolds, who led the design for Frontierville, has resigned and is looking to get back into the nitty gritty of game design.

Zynga CEO confirms layoffs of 5% of work force

Zynga CEO Mark Pincus has confirmed yesterday's layoffs, a 5% reduction in staff and the closure of the Boston studio. Closures are also being proposed to its Japan and UK studios.
