Yoshinori Ono is a well-liked icon in certain gaming circles. As producer on the Street Fighter franchise, he's credited for the recent revival of the fighting genre. He's known for his dedication to the community, and can be seen participating in goofy stunts. For example, he recreated a random scene from the live action Street Fighter movie.

One of Capcom's showcase items at the recent Evolution Champion Series 2011 (EVO) was its upcoming crossover fighter with Namco Bandai, Street Fighter X Tekken. Though the crossover seems years in the making, some gamers are eager to see Street Fighter characters face off against another group of brawlers.
Despite getting "a lot of requests" for a title that pits the Street Fighter franchise against the Mortal Kombat series, Capcom Producer Yoshinori Ono said the idea is "easier said than done."

The long-standing rumor of a Super Street Fighter 4 release on the PC got ignited again over the weekend, from none other than producer Yoshinori Ono. Responding to a fan asking about a PC port, Ono tweeted, "I cant twit about it topic... Plz wait until 12 Apr. 8 am PST. ;) RT" (via Blue's News). Read more »

Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono has been quiet since the release of Super back in April, but that is about to change. Ono is set to appear at and announce his new title at a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 24.
The official description for the panel is limited to the Street Fighter franchise, but it is strongly rumored to be a new Darkstalkers game. Ono hinted this in an interview with Shacknews back during GDC in March, when responding to a question about what his dream project would be. Read more »
