Paramount Movies app arrives on Xbox Live

Paramount Pictures now has its own standalone Kinect-enabled app. It works like many of the other movie-purchasing apps on the system--minus the ability to watch movies from studios other than Paramount. Oh, and you can't buy movies from the app, either.

Amazon Instant Video now available on Xbox 360

Xbox Live apps unlocked for non-Gold members this weekend

MLB.TV now available on Xbox 360

UFC on Xbox Live begins PPV service with UFC 143, free UFC RIO offered as apology

Microsoft embarrassed itself when it told UFC fans to "seek alternate means" of watching UFC 141. The company has issued an apology, free access to the next fight, and has said the app will be available for 'paying customers' with UFC 143.

Fox News and Wall Street Journal coming to Xbox 360

News Corporation will be bringing a variety of TV, news, and video apps to the Xbox 360 later this year from their most popular brands: FOX, Fox News Channel, IGN Entertainment, and The Wall Street Journal.

UFC on Xbox Live suffers technical issues, Microsoft reissuing free vouchers

UFC's debut on Xbox Live was plagued with a string of technical issues, and Microsoft even sent an e-mail "encouraging consumers to seek alternate means for viewing UFC 141."

Xbox TV channel launch schedule confirmed

Microsoft has revealed the launch schedule of partners and apps for Xbox TV, its streaming video service which arrives on Tuesday in the winter 2011 Xbox 360 dashboard update. Launch day brings Xbox Live, Hulu Plus, Netflix and MSNBC's Today.
