I Am So Super Excited for Titanfall's Transformers DLC!

I know it's been a long time since I've written for Shacknews, but I just couldn't hold back the excitement for this Titanfall DLC. I can't believe it! How did they get Optimus Prime from Transformers to be a playable Titan? Also, I love how they even offer an explanation as to why someone can control Optimus Prime. It's AMAZING.

Phil Spencer becomes new 'head of Xbox'

It's been a rather tumultuous time at Xbox, with the recent departures of Marc Whitten and Don Mattrick from the executive team. Taking over as the new official "head of Xbox" is Phil Spencer, former VP of Microsoft Studios.

In his new role, he'll oversee the development teams of Xbox, Xbox Live, and Microsoft Studios. In his new job, he'll "bring more of the magic of Xbox to all form factors, including tablets, PCs, and phones." That means he'll also overlook development on other services, including Xbox Music and Xbox Video.
