Lego The Hobbit trailer just needs one last big score

Lego The Hobbit trailer just needs one last big score

The Hobbit is a classic tale of 14 people getting together for the biggest score in Middle-Earth history. Peter Jackson's movies pay it all the reverence of the original Lord of the Rings saga, but Lego The Hobbit is unshackled from that legacy and can treat it like what it most obviously sounds like: a heist flick.

Watch Dogs could have shipped on time, producer says

Watch Dogs could have shipped on time, producer says

Today, Ubisoft announced Watch Dogs' new release date: May 27. It's about half a year after the game was originally supposed to ship, before Ubisoft very suddenly delayed the game just a month before launch.

Senior producer Dominic Guay says that the last-minute delay happened because "we still could have shipped" the game on time. "It was not like we were failing miserably, the game didn't work, or it couldn't be played! We'd been playing this game from front to back for so long it really looked like this would happen."

Child of Light co-op highlighted by new trailer

Child of Light co-op highlighted by new trailer

Ubisoft's beautiful Child of Light may be a Grandia-inspired turn-based RPG. However, it also features a multiplayer mode inspired by Rayman Legends.

When playing with a friend, your partner takes control of Igiculus, a ball of light that can interact with the environment. Not only can he illuminate the way, he can open up new paths and stall enemies. In combat, Igniculus can also interrupt enemy attacks. However, these abilities can't be spammed--player two must scour the environment for orbs that refill a power bar that enable these powers.
