DC Universe Online has received one final update for the holiday season, available to all players on PC and PS3. "Larfleeze--"greedy, devious leader of the Orange Lanterns"--has hidden items throughout Gotham and Metropolis, waiting for the perfect time to ship them back to the forbidden territory of the Vega System and it's up to heroes and villains to hunt down the treasure.
Green Lantern Hal Jordan will direct heroes, while the menacing Sinestro will lead the villains in the rush to "locate the presents." Stealing "presents"? It's the closest thing the DC world has to a happy holiday season!

As part of the massive 2GB update preparing Battlefield 3's incoming 'Back to Karkand' expansion, developer DICE has decided to "super-charge" the PC server browser with a variety of new options. The additions are based on requests and feedback from the game's forums and are currently available via the PC version's Battlelog menu.
"Highlights" include more search options for servers, such as allowing users to spot servers with kill cams and friendly fire enabled or disabled, "3D spotting," and filtering servers by specific countries. Additionally, players can share their "favorite Battle Reports" with friends via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

Today's look at the upcoming Team Fortress 2 'Uber' update focuses on the Soldier class, showing off "not one, not three, but two Soldier class packs" for the gruff class.
Revealed on the game's official blog, the Soldier will earn two updates: The General's Formals and the Airborne Armaments pack--which you can spot in this fancy World War Wednesday poster art. Read more »

For day two of its Team Fortress 2 'Uber Update' reveal, Valve has thoroughly researched the dangerous desert wasteland to pluck out a pair of authentic updates for two of TF2's characters. Today's Valve blog update introduces "Timbuk Tuesday," and showcases new gear for the Sniper and Demoman classes in Team Fortress 2.
The Sniper will receive a new rifle called 'The Bazaar Bargain,' which gives "+10 charge per second" for each consecutive headshot; and 'The Shahanshah' sword, which adds +25% in damage when player health is less than 50% of max and -25% when health is above 50% of max. Read more »

On Thursday, Valve will launch the "biggest, most ambitious update" in the history of its online multiplayer shooter, Team Fortress 2. To prepare for the aptly named "Uber Update," the dev revealed a few choice pieces of information and stealthily teased a special reward for the update's launch.
When the Uber Update arrives on June 23, Valve says it will release a new "Meet the" short for one of the remaining two classes. The company was quick to drop a few subtle hints regarding who would be featured in the video. According to Valve, two major clues for the video are: "It's NOT the Pyro" and "It's the MEDIC." "Wow, you've been busy!" the Bethesda Blog exclaimed today, revealing the official site for the Splash Damage-developed shooter, Brink, has been updated to include stat tracking. According to the blog, more than "a million matches" have been completed, over "10 billion XP points" have been earned, and "more than 80 years" of playtime have been recorded since the game launched on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on May 10.
