The Spy Hunter franchise has been in hiding for a while. But after a long debriefing, the G-6155 Interceptor sports car will hit the road again when the newest installment comes out on the 3DS and Vita on October 9.

Warner Bros. released a new trailer for the game showing off some of the new weapons to use against the Agent's enemies, which by the way are "no longer the simple, two-dimensional foes we have seen in the past."

I wasted way too many quarters in my youth playing the original Spy Hunter in my local arcade, with the music of Peter Gunn haunting me in my sleep. Unfortunately, the console adaptations did little in terms of quality to hold my interest. Now, after a long hiatus, the franchise is coming to the 3DS and Vita.
