Finally, the Angry Birds movie is coming in 2016. But, you won't need to wait three years to sate your appetite for more Angry Birds animated content. Naughty Dog is making the multiplayer portion of Uncharted 3 free-to-play. You can play up to level 15, at which point you can keep playing without making character progress, or pay to unlock the higher (level 25) cap. Then, Bethesda has officially announced QuakeCon 2013, with the massive bring-you-own-computer event returning to Dallas this year on August 1-4. Perhaps this will be the year when Doom 4 comes out of "Bethesda mode." Finally, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is getting three DLC packs today, packaged together as a "Deluxe Bundle" for $24.99.

Sony has confirmed that all PlayStation 4 games will be available to download. Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has said the system will be similar to the Vita, focusing on the digital marketplace with only some of its games available on physical media. Then, Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will indeed be coming to North America. The convoluted RPG collision of Disney and Final Fantasy's worlds will come to PlayStation 3 this fall. Finally, there are a lot of exciting, cinematic moments and action to experience within the new Tomb Raider, even though they come at the expense of the spirit of exploration and environmental puzzling the IP was originally built upon. Check out our review.

Expect all sorts of games to appear on PS4. Sony's Jack Tretton says that the games will range in price from what you might expect on mobile to standard console pricing. "We're going to welcome free-to-play models, games from 99 cents up to those $60 games," he said. Then, the DualShock 4 bears a lot in common with its predecessors, with a few tweaks like the touch pad and dedicated Share button. And while Sony isn't quite ready to call it the final design, it's close. Finally, The Witness is coming to PlayStation 4 as a timed console exclusive. Given the pedigree of creator Jonathan Blow, you may think that Sony paid out for the exclusivity, but Blows says it was just a matter of the team's resources and preferences.

As we get ready for Sony;s big press conference, first up is DmC: Devil May Cry's "Vergil's Downfall" downloadable content and it is coming March 5, Capcom has announced. The DLC lets you play as Dante's twin brother, Vergil, in his own campaign that includes new weapons, combos, enemies, and locations. It also carries its own story, and judging by the title we're guessing things don't turn out so well for Dante's kin. Next, with the power to open rifts into other realities and even the 1980s, BioShock Infinite co-star Elizabeth is clearly very special and important. Why, just think of the fortunes you could make by popping back to stock up on ironic vintage t-shirts before they were ironic or vintage! A new trailer's dedicated to the so-called Lamb of Columbia, who you're sent to rescue and the floating city's determined to keep locked away. Finally, recent reports suggest that Orbis will contain streaming tech provided by Sony's recently-acquired Gaikai. The cloud-based service will enable playback of PS3 games on Sony's next console--even as they transition to an entirely new chip architecture. It's likely Sony will officially announce their cloud initiative at today's press conference, as Gaikai has just registered numerous domains related to "PlayStation Cloud."

Bungie's next game, Destiny, is the epitome of AAA game development: it aims to be nothing less than the biggest world ever created for a video game, while reinventing the FPS. Then, there's few franchises that garner the same kind of respect Metal Gear does. But does Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance live up to the Metal Gear name? Almost, but not quite. Finally, Crysis 3 is beautiful. But get past the pretty graphics, and you'll discover a strong single-player campaign with engrossing gameplay and a decent-enough story.

Tying in to what Nintendo is cheekily referring to as "The Year of Luigi," the company announced a new large-scale piece of downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros U. The "New Super Luigi U" DLC puts Mario's brother in the starring role. Then, Injustice: Gods Among Us is adding yet another character to its roster of superheroes and villains punching and kicking each other: Aquaman. Finally, 2K has confirmed it'll be publishing the WWE series made by Japanese developer Yuke's.

First up today, word on The Last Guardian has been awfully quiet lately, as the latest we've heard has been about technical difficulties way back in June. We may be close to more information, though, as the game's creative director has told eager fans to "keep an eye out" for official release details. Next, Deadpool, coming from Transformers developer High Moon Studios, has narrowed its release window down to a season. The fourth-wall-breaking "Merc with a Mouth" will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime this summer. Finally, the risk of permadeath is what makes Diablo 3's Hardcore mode so thrilling, even knowing one single lag spike or server hiccup could spell your doom. Some people, however, have been big babies and refused to accept this, faking account hacks to get their account rolled back and recover their lost characters. No more! With the release of patch 1.0.7, Hardcore characters are excluded from rollbacks.

First off, a new Crysis 3 commercial wants to spark desires for its protagonist, with a little help from ZZ Top. Boys want to be him, I guess, and girls want to be with him, probably. Every girl's crazy about a sharp-dressed man, after all. Next up, Batman: Arkham City followed about two years after Arkham Asylum, which means we're about due for another game revolving around Gotham's favorite insanity hotspot. Warner has confirmed that another title in the franchise is due this year. Finally, Gears of War: Judgment is a prequel that takes place just after the first Locust attack, so you shouldn't need any prior knowledge of the series to get a hang of the proceedings. If you have gaps in your Gears knowledge, though, one retailer is making it a bit easier to fill in the blank spaces.

First up, 10 months after its smash-hit Kickstarter ended, inXile Entertainment has shown off the first proper footage of the crowdfunded Wasteland 2. The trailer packs a whopping 15 minutes of post-apocalyptic RPG fun, narrated by dev director Chris Keenan, looking a fine follow-up to the 1998 classic. Next, Tomb Raider has gotten a few gameplay demonstrations, but most of them weren't as lengthy as a new one released today. A walkthrough of the monastery escape sequence lasts a whopping 11 minutes, featuring looks at combat and Lara's cinematic moments. Finally, the long-awaited Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has finally been released. Does it meet the high bar set by its pedigree?

A ZombiU bundle will release in North America on February 17. It features a Wii U Deluxe Set with Digital Deluxe promotion, ZombiU game, a black Wii U Pro Controller, and a booklet with artwork and developer commentary. Then, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is Terminal Reality's FPS prequel to the TV series. Activision has release a new trailer (official, this time) showing off the brothers Dixon. Finally, did you miss out on the first SimCity beta? No worries, as EA and Maxis will be running another one over Valentine's weekend. Urban planning is so romantic!

Say goodbye to Connor. Say farewell to America. The next Assassin's Creed won't follow the model established by AC2. Instead of having a spin-off game continuing Connor's story, Ubisoft's next Assassin's Creed game will actually take place in an all new time period with a brand new hero. Then, Rayman Legends was due in just a few scant weeks on the Wii U, but the game has now been pushed all the way to September. The good news, at least for those who don't own a Wii U, is that the game will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well. Finally, "Both a Portal and Half-Life movie are things I want to see," J.J. Abrams said, noting that he's well aware of the pitfalls other game-to-movie adaptations have faced.

OUYA, the Android-based gaming console, has set a consumer launch window for June 2013. For you calendar-obsessive types and history buffs, of which there might be some crossover, Ubisoft has detailed dates for the other two parts of story in March and April. Finally, the formerly Wii U exclusive Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge will be hitting the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this spring.
