Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced already has 350,000 words of new content

Things have been awfully quiet from Beamdog after the release of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. We know they are working on DLC for the game, and also a Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced, so we contacted them to find out just what was going on in the land of Faerun.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is coming to Mac this Friday, February 22. It will be available directly from the publisher Beamdog at first, but is planning to release sometime later in the Mac App Store. The game costs $19.99.

Some fans seeking to try the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition were a bit miffed when the game originally launched only through publisher Beamdog and not on Steam. Well, the fans got their wish yesterday, but the version apparently isn't up to par with the current game.

"The full release version is great, it's just the Steam version which is funky."
