Netflix is available on every other gaming device. So, perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised that the popular movie-streaming service will be available on the Vita at launch. Netflix joins a rather large library of non-gaming apps available for Vita at launch, including Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, and Skype.
In addition to Netflix, the Vita will also launch with Music Unlimited, Sony's premium music streaming service. Plans start from $3.99 a month.

Netflix's instant selection isn't just limited to raunchy teen comedies and steamy adult dramas. The company also offers a "Just for Kids" section that includes content directed for children 12 and under. Not only is this section broken by genre (superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs and girl power), the Just for Kids section lets you browse by character. For example, you can find all of Netflix's content featuring Elmo, or Garfield.
Just for Kids will be available on Wii later today, making it the first console to offer the kid-friendly service.
