Kinect Sports Rivals coming to Xbox One on April 8

Kinect Sports Rivals was originally meant to be a launch game for Xbox One--one of the few games designed to take full advantage of the mandatory Kinect sensor included with Microsoft's next-gen system. Obviously, that didn't happen. The compilation will include new motion games, including climbing, wake racing, target shooting, soccer, tennis, and bowling. And it'll be available on April 8.

Xbox One headset adapter coming March, costs $25

There was outrage when Xbox fans discovered they could not use their existing 360 peripheral on Xbox One--including headsets. While Microsoft eventually bundled their official headset with the system to appease gamer uproar, those who used third-party headsets were left out in the cold. With premium headsets sometimes going into three digits, the inability to use those headsets was upsetting for some.

Xbox One March update detailed, focuses on improving Live

A system update for Xbox One this week will offer some subtle tweaks to the Dashboard, including a battery indicator for the controller and the ability to see how much space is left on the hard drive. However, next month's planned update promises to be far more exciting.

Central to the March update is enhancing the Xbox One experience, just in time for Titanfall's release. For example, getting to your friends list will be faster, with the list being centered on the homepage of the Friends app. You'll also be able to see "Recent Players," Live members you've encountered in recent matches.

Xbox One getting system updates in February and March

The next Xbox One system update is coming on February 11th. It'll include lots of "behind the scenes updates" for developers building apps and games, but it'll also include some new features that'll benefit you. For example, Kinect voice commands have been focused on so that they will be "more fluid and responsive."

In addition, you'll be able to see and manage your storage space. Before, content simply installed on your hard drive, with no way of knowing how much space was left on the system. There's also a new battery indicator, so you can see how much life is left in your controller. You'll also be able to use a USB keyboard with Xbox One.

LocoCycle coming to PC & Xbox 360 on February 14th

Twisted Pixel's latest game LocoCycle was a game we dubbed as "so bad... it's bad" in our review. The game shocked critics and fans alike with its shallow repetitive gameplay and overtly racist presentation. You'll now be able to enjoy the mediocrity on PC and Xbox 360.

Why Xbox TV originals won't be like Choose Your Own Adventure

Microsoft is kicking off its original TV programming on Xbox this year, and plans to take advantage of the interactivity that comes with hosting your shows on a game console. In a recent interview, Xbox Entertainment Studio creative director Elan Lee was fairly vague on just how it will be leveraging that aspect, but he was very clear on how it won't. He has no intention of making branching paths and multiple endings.
