You probably haven't been able to escape The Hunger Games. Over the past month, the marketing flurry for the movie adaptation of the young adult novel by Suzanne Collins has hit a fever pitch. The film is in theaters starting today, and an accompanying free iOS game has hit the App Store.

The Hunger Games iOS game coming from Canabalt dev

Adam Saltsman (aka Adam Atomic), the indie developer behind great games like Canabalt and Gravity Hook, has announced his next project for iOS called The Hunger Games: Girl on Fire. Unlike Saltsman's previous work, the project is being developed in partnership with film studio Lionsgate, which is producing the upcoming films based on the trilogy created by author Suzanne Collins.
