VectorCell's horror game, Amy, will break through a window and scare gamers next week on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. In a zombified apocalyptic future, you must hold off a growing infection whilst taking care of a "special little girl."
Amy looks like a game you'd see on retail stores, but publisher Lexis Numerique is releasing the game digitally for $12.99 on PS3 and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360. (We're not entirely sure why the Xbox 360 version is cheaper.)

Set in the not-too-distant future of 2034 in the small mid-western town of Silver City, Amy focuses on a woman named Lana trying to survive in a bleak world. Climate change has gotten the best of mankind, and to top things off, a mysterious comet has crashed on Earth, turning people into rage-crazed monsters. The game's titular heroine is an "enigmatic eight-year-old autistic girl with strange powers" that accompanies Lana on her mission to survive.

"Reminds me of Hydrophobia. Except, imo, Hydrophobia was the better game (though still not great)."
