No ni Kuni making January 2013 Ghiblicious

Level-5 and Studio Ghibli's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is now confirmed for a PlayStation release on January 22, 2013, having recently been delayed again. The revelation comes from the RPG's E3 trailer, which is every bit as lovely as you'd expect from revered animation studio Ghibli.

Studio Ghilbi's intricately animated Japanese RPG Ni no Kuni has been scheduled to make a North American and European appearance with the help of accomplished developer Level 5. The question has always been when. Two months ago, the release was delayed to winter 2012. Now, it has been pushed back even further.

Professor Layton 3DS hitting Europe in 2012

Professor Layton games tend to take their time getting to the states, but his first 3DS outing could be coming next year. At the very least, Level-5 is teasing the 3DS game Mask of Miracle in Europe for next year, and Layton games tend to hit North America before the territory, so that gives us a hopeful sign.

Layton Brothers: Mystery Room coming to iOS

Another recognizable face from Nintendo platforms is making the trek to iOS devices. Level-5 has announced a new game in Japan, titled Layton Brothers: Mystery Room. The company hasn't detailed the game or even shown a screenshot, but it promises "a new Professor Layton series experience" on iOS.

Professor Layton and the Last Specter coming in October

The Nintendo DS is in its twilight years as the 3DS gets the brunt of software attention, but the system's not going out without one of its most popular series. Nintendo announced today that Professor Layton and the Last Specter will launch on the DS in North America on October 17. The title represents the last DS Layton game released in Japan, as Mask of Miracle is for the system's little brother, 3DS.
