Angry Birds movie coming in 2016

Rovio has announced that it will produce, finance, and retain creative control over an Angry Birds movie adaptation coming in 2016. John Cohen (Despicable Me) and David Maisel (Iron Man) are serving as producer and executive producer, respectively.

A new Angry Birds Star Wars trailer gives a much longer look at gameplay, including new characters and powers, and the Angry Birds Space-styled stages.
