After launching on December 14, the second (hopefully now annual) Humble Indie Bundle has come to a close, raising just over $1.8 million.
The DRM-free, "pay what you want" bundle featured a number of high-profile independently developed games for PC, Mac, and Linux, in support of indie developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Child's Play Charity. Users were able to divide their donations to share between developers and charities or to give the entire lump sum to any one specific group. Read more »

The brilliant 'pay what you want' Humble Indie Bundle #2 keeps getting better, as organiser Wolfire Games has now announced that you can receive the six games from the original Humble Indie Bundle for free.
All 180,00-odd customers who bought Bundle #2 before this announcement was made will have automatically received Bundle #1 for nowt. New purchasers, though, will need to spend more than whatever Bundle #2's average purchase price is at the time in order to receive Bundle #1. Sales of the "pay what you want" Humble Indie Bundle have passed $1 million, leading the kind folks behind it all to extend the offer by four days and pledge to release the source code for bundle games Lugaru HD, Gish, Aquaria and Penumbra Overture.
The initial week-long Humble Indie Bundle sale raked in $1,112,815, with $344,450 going to Penny Arcade's charity Child's Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Read more »

The pay-what-you want Humble Indie Bundle has added the full version of Machinarium developer Amanita Design's charming adventure game Samorost 2 to its lineup, joining World of Goo, Gish, Aquaria, Lugaru HD and Penumbra Overture in the bargain offer.
With the offer set to end at 4pm EDT today, the grand total at the time of writing stands at a whopping $891,404--a portion of which is headed to Penny Arcade's children's charity Child's Play and digital rights advocate the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
