The vast majority of connected Grand Theft Auto 5 players are diving into the online mode, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. In a recent interview, he hailed the persistence of GTAO as a success in and of itself, beyond the blockbuster success of its initial sales boom.

Grand Theft Auto Online to add user-created Capture jobs this week

Grand Theft Auto Online will be updated tomorrow to add Capture jobs to the Creator tool. Capture mode is GTA's take on capture-the-flag, as teams must set traps and place obstacles to make sure their goods don't get taken. Players will be able to create and share Jobs across any of the four Capture variants, including Content, GTA, Hold, and Raid.

Grand Theft Auto Online: The High Life Update coming this spring

Rockstar has ambitious plans to continuously update Grand Theft Auto Online. Next week, players will be able to create their own original Capture jobs, in addition to the already-available Deathmatches and Races. However, that's just the first update Rockstar has planned.

Coming this spring is "The High Life Update." This expansion will add new high-end apartment options, the Bullpup Rifle, new wardrobe items, the Dinka Thrust motorcycle, and three new cars, including the Pegassi Zentorno. The update also introduces the ability to own two properties simultaneously. Finally, a new "Mental State" statistic will let players see how "psychotically unhinged" they are.

Grand Theft Auto Online: The Business Update adds new weapons and vehicles

The world of GTA Online is expanding again next week. "The Business Update" will be available on March 4th on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The title update will add three new sports cars to the game, in both single and multiplayer: the Albany Alpha, Dinka Jester, and Grotti Turismo R. In addition, there will be a brand new Vestra airplane.

Yet another clue has dropped indicating a possible PC port for Grand Theft Auto V. A reportedly leaked bug log detailing test builds of the game between April 2009 and August 2013 makes several references to PC versions and PC-specific architecture.

Grand Theft Auto Online gets 'Capture' mode tomorrow

Grand Theft Auto Online will be updated with a new mode tomorrow: "Capture," which is Rockstar's take on capture the flag.

The 1.08 title update on PS3 and Xbox 360 will add the new gameplay mode, alongside 20 new Jobs. Capture can be played in four different ways. In "Raid," you have to fight your way into your opponent's base, steal a package, and deliver it back to your base to score. Whichever teams scores the most wins.

GTA Online content creator leaked in new videos

Grand Theft Auto Online will eventually include a content creator. And new leaked videos show off how it may look.

"Funmw2" discovered the content creator tool, but notes that the version showcased in the video is "old." This version allows users to create races and deathmatches, but not missions. Obviously, the tool is a work-in-progress, and will likely change by the time Rockstar is ready to release it in the wild.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas goes mobile in December

Well, this was bound to happen eventually. Following the successful release of GTA3 and Vice City, Rockstar Games has announced a mobile port of San Andreas. Coming next month on "select" iOS, Android, Kindle, and Windows devices, the upcoming portable version of the game will include full controller support, including Made for iOS controller capability introduced in iOS 7.
