Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call announced for 3DS

Square Enix has announced Theatrhythm: Curtain Call for 3DS, a follow-up to its Final-Fantasy-themed music game. It's due out in Japan in spring.


Final Fantasy 14 PS4 beta to begin in February

Just in case you forgot, Final Fantasy 14 is also coming to PS4. Square Enix just announced that the PS4 beta will be available in time for the Japanese launch of PS4: February 22.

Square Enix planned 'conservative' relaunch for Final Fantasy 14, due to original game's failure

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy 'Curtain Call' trademarked

Square Enix has registered a trademark for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call, implying something else is in the works for the RPG-music hybrid.

Final Fantasy 14 will include a PvP mode, but it's less about killing other players and more about competition, according to game director Naoki Yoshida, because he doesn't want to "shock" Final Fantasy fans new to the MMO genre.
