This weekend has some cracking sales so it's hard to pick one headlining game, but Borderlands 2 for $11 is pretty darn good. Other exciting bargains include Sleeping Dogs for $6, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for $7, Dark Souls for $8, The Walking Dead for $8, Batman: Arkham City GotY for $8, Hitman: Absolution for $9, Diablo 3 for $40, and a cracking bundle of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Civilization IV Complete, and Civ V Gold for $20.

Alice is out this weekend, actually enjoying her life. So, based on the laws of the Cult of GameFly, the next person on the Shacknews team alphabetically is responsible for this weekend's PC deals post. Or else.
Some highlights this weekend include Bulletstorm and Syndicate oddly bundled up into a $7 collection, the newest Hitman for only $5, and a Steam powered re-release of System Shock 2 that also happens to be on sale. Onward!
Humble Double Fine Bundle launched
Humble Bundle yesterday launched a new pay-what-you-want package of games that's more than acceptable, more than just fine, it's Double Fine. I'll explain the amusing pun: for as much or as little as you fancy paying, you can get Double Fine Productions' lovely games Stacking, Costume Quest, Psychonauts. If you're not stingy, Brutal Legend and Broken Age are up for grabs too.
PlayStation Store highlights indie games
The PlayStation Store will add a dedicated indie section to its interface when it updates later today, to promote its streak of unique (and usually exclusive) independent efforts, such as Journey and The Unfinished Swan. The new section will rotate highlighted games, and it's kicking off with a few discounts on recent indie games.

The star of this week's weekend deals is undoubtedly a bundle of both XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Civilization V for only $16. You'll also find everything Tropico 4 for $10, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action for $10, Sleeping Dogs for $13, the new Tomb Raider for $25, and loads of classic EA games you absolutely, positively must own for only $2 a pop.
