GFACE: Crytek's online service for video chat, streaming

Crytek is at work on its own online gaming service. Titled GFACE, it promises to combine video chat, streaming gameplay, and multi-device support, among other features.

EA has finished 2011 dethroning Activision's Call of Duty series. Just... not in the way it wanted to. Crysis 2 has won the "honor" of being the most pirated game of 2011.

US Army training game videos showcase CryEngine 3

Crytek making Homefront sequel

Though Homefront's creator, Kaos Studios, has shut down, the franchise lives on. THQ announced today that Crysis developer Crytek will be making the sequel, headed to PC and consoles in 2014.

Crysis 1 'remastered' for Xbox 360 and PS3

A "remastered" version of Crysis 1 is headed to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in October. Though the sequel was released on consoles, the original hasn't been so far.

Crytek defends against allegations of 'polluted work atmosphere'

Crytek co-founder Avni Yerli has responded to anonymous claims that the Crysis 2 developer has a "polluted work atmosphere" at its Frankfurt head office, treating staff as "disposable pieces of meat to be discarded at will."

CryEngine 3 SDK offered for free
