Tomb Raider producer defends $60 Definitive Edition

Tomb Raider producer Scot Amos has defended pricing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One "Definitive Edition" at $60, calling it more than a mere "facelift."

Crystal Dynamics lays off staff from its new IP

Crystal Dynamics, the studio best known for their work on Tomb Raider, has suffered layoffs. The cuts will not affect development of the next-gen Tomb Raider sequel. Instead, the team working on Crystal's new IP will be impacted.

'Next-generation' Tomb Raider sequel confirmed by Square Enix CEO

Rogers confirms that the Tomb Raider sequel is not only happening, but it's "well into development" as well. He specifically calls it a "next-generation" sequel.

No plans for Tomb Raider single-player DLC

You may have noticed Crystal Dynamics releasing a multiplayer map pack for Tomb Raider and wondered, "Why?" or "Will we get single-player DLC?" or "Why?" Because it's not planning to expand or continue the single-player story with DLC, that's why. Or part of the why, anyway.

Tomb Raider 'Caves and Cliffs' map pack announced, coming first on Xbox 360

Tomb Raider is getting its first bit of downloadable content later this month, a "Caves and Cliffs" pack that adds three multiplayer maps for $4.99. It's a timed exclusive to Xbox 360, coming March 19.
