Formerly scheduled for a pre-holiday release, Crackpot Entertainment's bug-themed detective title Insecticide (PC, DS) won't hit stores until next year. Publisher Gamecock announced the title's new release date today, scheduling the DS version for February 12, 2008.

The PC version will arrive as a downloadable episodic game, with the first episode coming "soon after" the DS version's release. Crackpot paired the announcement with new screens of both the DS and PC version of the game. Read more »

Cosmos Gaming has posted a Q&A with Michael Levine, president of Crackpot Entertainment. This company, staffed by many ex-Lucasarts employees, is currently working on the action/adventure game Insecticide for Gamecock.
