Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances announced for browsers
[Update: 09:00] EA has now sent over a trailer giving a peek at the game.
Hot on the heels of the announcement of Command & Conquer Generals 2 over the weekend comes word of another new C&C game, a free-to-play social affair by the name of Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances. It's being developed by EA Phenomic, the studio behind the free-to-play Battleforge and Lord of Ultima.
Command & Conquer: Generals 2 runs on Frostbite 2, coming 2013
BioWare's new game reveal for the Spike TV Video Game Awards have been just announced. As predicted, Command & Conquer: Generals 2 is a follow-up to the original PC game from 2003. Generals was a real-time strategy game, pitting the US against China and the Global Liberation Army.
The VGA reveal was very short, but it revealed that the sequel will be powered by Frostbite 2, the same engine that powered Battlefield 3.
Command & Conquer: Alliances domain names registered
Electronic Arts registered fifteen domain names late last week, and they're all related to the Command and Conquer, making a new entry in the long-running strategy series all but confirmed. The game is likely to be called "Alliances," as each of the URLs, such as commandandconquer-alliances.com and redalertalliances.com, features the subtitle.
