Like the rest of the gaming world, the eyes of the Shacknews community was on Tuesday's Xbox One reveal event. Some enjoyed the hardware and entertainment features, others are taking a wait-and-see approach until E3, but many others left the event disappointed. If you were one of the lucky ones that was able to attend ShackCon 2.0 this year, you'll know what a great event it turned out to be. If you weren't there, then you also realized that the advertising slogan for Las Vegas is really a lie. At ShackCon, whatever happens in Vegas shows up on Chatty for the whole world to see.
While Shacknews covered the event in proper fashion over the weekend, we also found an interesting story at the Pinball Hall of Fame, where proprietor Tim Arnold has carved a loving niche for the old-school pinball lovers.
A person coming in off the Las Vegas strip into room 1419 at the Platinum Hotel would probably see just a party, with people chatting in one corner about important topics of the day, another corner watching the television intently, while yet another group sat at a table playing a party game. Upon closer inspection, however, they would find that this was not your average social gathering. This was ShackCon 2.0.
