Hearthstone for iPad now available in U.S.

Update: The Hearthstone Twitter account has reaffirmed that Android and iPhone versions of Hearthstone are in the works and planned for later this year.

Original story: Blizzard teased us with a Canadian release a few weeks ago, but now Hearthstone on iPad is available for the rest of North America. This joins the recent news of the Curse of Naxxramas expansion, which is set to hit PC and iPad simultaneously.

Hearthstone getting 'Curse of Naxxramas' single-player campaign

Blizzard is expanding its Hearthstone options with a single-player campaign, titled Curse of Naxxramas. The studio plans on adding the new adventure mode starting sometime soon, over the course of five weeks. Like the Arena mode, you can buy your way into Naxx with in-game gold or actual dollar-moneys.

Blizzard has deployed the iPad version of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft in select regions, with Canada among the first to receive the iOS incarnation of the free-to-play collectible card game. A U.S. release date has still not been announced, but Blizzard notes that it is imminent.
