Jetpack Joyride jumps to PS3, Vita, and PSP today

Halfbrick's hit mobile game Jetpack Joyride is coming to PlayStation systems today, including the PlayStation 3, Vita, and even the PSP. It's being categorized as a PlayStation Mini, and includes the bells and whistles of the popular iOS and Android versions--for a higher price.

Wizorb brings brick-breaking RPG gameplay to PS Minis next week

After making an appearance on PC and Xbox Live Indie Games, Wizorb is making its way to the PlayStation Minis program. The indie combines brick-breaking gameplay with classic retro RPG visuals and elements. You'll fight monsters, explore towns, interact with NPCs--all while breaking bricks.

The Minis title will be available on July 24th for $3.99, and will be available on PS3, PSP, and "eventually" on Vita. Check out this trailer for more:

StarDrone Extreme coming to Vita next week

StarDrone Extreme may have missed its promised release alongside the PlayStation Vita launch, but the game now has a new release date. It will hit next week, April 17, for the somewhat surprising price of $3.99.

StarDrone Extreme coming for PS Vita launch

StarDrone Extreme will be available as a PlayStation Vita launch title, developer Beatshapers announced today. The PlayStation 3 version was featured as a IndieCade pick here at Shacknews, and the Vita update promises exclusive levels, music, and art.

The PlayStation Vita will launch February 22 in North America.

IndieCade 2011: StarDrone and StarDrone Extreme

Earlier this year, developers Beatshapers and TastyPlay released an arcade action-pinball game for the PSN called StarDrone. Beatshapers had the opportunity to show off StarDrone to attendees at IndieCade 2011 this year, where passersby could try out the game's PlayStation Move controls. Not only did I get a chance to go hands-on with the game and talk to Beatshapers' Alexey Menshikov, but I also got my hands on a special surprise.
