"Star Wars Pinball." You pretty much know how the rest of this article goes. It's pinball. But with Star Wars. And it will be available on pretty much every video gaming device imaginable later this month.
Star Wars-themed pinball tables will be available as DLC for Pinball FX2 on Xbox 360 and Windows 8; Zen Pinball 2 on PS3, Vita, and Mac; Zen Pinball on iOS; and Zen Pinball HD on Android. Star Wars Pinball will also be available as a standalone app on iOS and Android, with new platforms to be announced later on.

Paradox Interactive's hit Magicka franchise is making the leap onto iOS and Android. Wizards of the Square Tablet is a touch-exclusive, promising to translate the original's co-op spellcasting to tablet devices.
Wizards of the Square Tablet isn't a mere port, however. This is a new Magicka campaign, featuring a brand new story. Whereas the original game came from Arrowhead, this new touch version is from Ludosity (check out their credentials here

Disney Infinity, the ambitious game that brings together various Disney franchises, is being pitched as a "platform" that will constantly update with new toys and playsets to collect. That means the team at Avalanche will be preparing to roll out characters for unreleased Disney movies, and part of that includes putting some future assets on the disc.

Nintendo spent a lot of time talking about the Miiverse in today's Nintendo Direct promising updates and new features in the near future. It also announced a new Miiverse app for smartphones, detailed back in June, would be coming this spring.

The next Tekken game is not what you might expect. Namco Bandai is taking a page from Pokemon, transforming its most popular fighting franchise into a collectible card game.
Tekken Card Tournament will launch as a free-to-play iOS game in Q1, with in-app purchases letting you acquire new cards for use in online card battles. Fights will be rendered in 3D, with animations playing out the moves you play from your deck. A quick hands-off demo of the game reminded us of Rock, Paper, Scissors--with players having to choose to charge up, attack, or defend.

Disney Infinity is the House of Mouse's twist at Activision's successful Skylanders franchise, by incorporating real-world toys with video gaming. As pretty much everyone has concluded, "this thing is going to print money."
When the game launches, the $75 Starter Set will feature Mr. Incredible, Monster Inc.'s Sulley, and Captain Jack Sparrow. Everyone's getting into the Linux game, it seems, and now Nvidia has tossed its hat into the ring. The graphics card manufacturer yesterday announced its Project Shield, an Android-powered handheld that resembles an Xbox 360 controller with a flip-up touchscreen. Curiously, as well as playing Android games, it can play PC games streamed over WiFi from your gaming rig.

Disney Interactive is reportedly planning an ambitious open-world game that will cross various popular Disney and Pixar characters. "Disney Infinity" is said to be an open-world sandbox game in the vein of Minecraft that will allow the company to constantly expand itself by releasing new sets of characters, settings, and building blocks.
