Spark Unlimited's first-person shooter Legendary has been dated for a November 4 release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to a representative. The PC version will follow on November 18.

"It won't be long before everyone will be able to finally know the joy of shooting a griffon out of the sky with a rocket launcher!" said the rep of the mythological monster-filled title.

The company also released a few more screenshots of the game, which you can view below.

Spark Unlimited's first-person shooter Legendary is set in modern day. Players will take up the role of professional thief Charles Deckard, hired by a mysterious organization to steal an ancient artifact from a New York museum.

When the artifact, which turns out to be the legendary Pandora's Box, is opened, mythological creatures are unleashed upon the world. Then you shoot them. (Stuff probably blows up, too.)

Legendary is set for an October 21 release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

A new batch of screenshots from Spark Unlimited's fantasy shooter Legendary (PC, PS3, 360) has just arrived, containing a look at the game's multiplayer element.

The game is scheduled to hit shelves later this summer. Legendary marks Spark Unlimited's second release this year, following February's release of the alternate history shooter Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (PC, PS3, 360).

Later this year, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Call of Duty: Finest Hour developer Spark Unlimited will unleash its fantasy shooter Legendary on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Until then, we're forced to make do with these new screenshots, which show off the game's werewolf foes, an empty alley, and an ominous flock of birds.

The Gamecock Media Group hosted the second annual E.I.E.I.O. event in Austin, TX last week, showing various games they'll be publishing over the next few quarters. Gamecock Media Group has sent out four new screenshots from the title formerly known as Legendary: The Box, showing more of the fantasy shooter in development at Spark Unlimited.

Now titled Legendary, the game will be released for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer. It will mark the second release of the year for Spark Unlimited, which is also putting the finishing touches on the alternate history shooter Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.

I got some hands-on time with Spark Unlimited's forthcoming mythic monster shooter, Legendary: The Box (PC, PS3, X360). The box in question is Pandora's, so you'll be facing off against griffins, minotaurs, and other fantastical foes. Read on for the full report.

It was easy to see the developer's war shooter influences in some of this level's aspects--the destructive world-ending shockwaves of Legendary replacing a World War II shooter's constant mortars--but Spark certainly did a great job conveying the chaos of the situation in this interactive segment.

Call of Duty: Finest Hour developer Spark Unlimited today announced it has signed a publishing deal with Gamecock for its upcoming fantasy shooter Legendary: The Box.

In Legendary: The Box, players assume the role of Charles Deckard, an art thief who is asked to steal Pandora's Box. Upon opening the box, Deckard unleashes mythical creatures such as werewolves on modern day society. Combatting those creatures as well as other forces, it's up to Deckard to once again close the box.
