Street Fighter 2 Table Coming to Pinball FX

Capcom and developer Zen Studios have partnered to bring a Street Fighter II-themed pinball table into Zen's downloadable Xbox Live Arcade game Pinball FX.

Meant to promote the November arrival of Capcom's downloadable Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the Street Fighter II board will hit Pinball FX as downloadable contentcome November 12.

No pricing was disclosed, but Capcom issued the following bullet points:

  • Enter the World Warrior Championship fighting as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile and battle against Sagat, Evil Ryu, Vega, and Balrog. Advance... Read more

The Punisher Multiplayer FPS Coming to PSN

Zen Studios announced The Punisher: No Mercy today, an Unreal Engine 3-powered FPS bringing the gritty Marvel comic book hero to the PlayStation 3 for some online deathmatch action.

According to Zen director Zsolt Kigyossy's post on the official PlayStation Blog, "you'll see the Marvel Universe through a first-person perspective in some intense arena-based multiplayer action."

The game will be sold only as a digital download and will be exclusive to the PlayStation Store, the online marketplace for the PlayStation 3. Kigyossy added, "Our main focus is to create an awesome online multiplayer experience with the style and grit from the Punisher's world."

Right now, the game only has a teaser website, and a price or release date have not yet been announced.

Battlezone, Rocky and Bullwinkle on XBLA Wed.

Battlezone and Rocky and Bullwinkle will debut on Xbox Live Arcade this week, Microsoft has revealed. Both will be downloadable from the Xbox 360's online Xbox Live Marketplace beginning Wednesday, April 16.

Ported by Stainless Games and priced at 400 Microsoft Points ($5), Battlezone is an update to Atari's classic tank-on-tank combat title. As is typical for most XBLA reimaginings, it includes both the original game and a mode with enhanced graphics.

Battlezone also features support for two-person offline and online multiplayer.

A collection of over 100 mini-games inspired by the cartoon series, Rocky and Bullwinkle was developed by Zen Studios and will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). It allows up to 12 local players care of controlling-passing, and 25 of its mini-games can be played with the Xbox Live Vision camera.
