Eve Does XIII

Ubi Soft sends over this press release, announcing that singer/actress Eve will voice the part of Major Jones in the upcoming first person shooter XIII. Major Jones is described as "a beautiful yet mysterious character in the game, who helps players unravel clues behind the game's captivating story". XIII is due out this fall on all major systems.

GameHelper has posted what they call preview/Q&A combo plate of Ubi Soft's upcoming game XIII. There are hands-on impressions of the game and associate producer Damien Moret answers questions about inspiration for the game, the comic book feel, how far along development is, and a few other things.

GameSpy Daily has six new XIII screenshots, showing more from Ubi Soft's upcoming cel-shaded shooter. It was announced last week that this game has been delayed until the third quarter of 2003.

From Ubi Soft comes the news that their neat looking cel-shaded first person shooter XIII, has been delayed. This console/PC game was shooting for an early 2003 release but now the third quarter of that year is looking more likely. The additional development time will be used "to ensure that this game is as close to perfect as possible."

Ubi Soft's cel-shaded FPS XIII has been previewed on GameSpy, where they take a look at the PC and console versions of the game. No new screenshots sadly.

Ubi Soft released some new XIII screenshots today, supposedly from the Xbox version. Pretty much shows what the PC version looks like as well though, especially since the shots are 1600x1200. Check them out.

There's also this fact list which lists a few Xbox specific features such as Xbox Live! support, but most features are in the PC version as well.

New on EuroGamer today is a preview of XIII, the upcoming cel-shaded FPS. The guys at EuroGamer checked out the game at ECTS and are fairly pleased with what they saw.

Ubi Soft has released a new gameplay movie from their cel-shaded FPS XIII, offering 39 seconds of footage. We have a medium version and big version on FileShack. Thanks Blues News.

GIGA Games has three more movies from XIII, the upcoming cel-shaded action FPS. Each of the movies features about 3 to 4 minutes of footage in DivX format.
