Blizzard's Rob Pardo has been interviewed on Action Trip, answering their questions about the 3D RTS Warcraft 3. They ask him about the release date, the progress that's being made, gaining experience, the unit categories and a couple of other things.

Blizzard's Warcraft 3 site has been updated with a single new screenshot from their upcoming RTS. It shows the Undead character that you can play in the game.

According to a news post on Gamespot, Blizzard's RTS Warcraft 3 is on track for a release in the first half of 2002. Of course, delays are not uncommon for Blizzard games, but this is what they're shooting for right now.

The boys at WarcraftIII.net have posted a chat transcript of a recent Warcraft 3 Q&A event. A lot of gameplay questions in here about Blizzard's upcoming RTS, about things like harvesting, a limit to the amount of heroes you can make, how shared units will work, if neutral units have their own spells, why hotkeys can't be remapped and much more. Ok last time I'll mention these daily updates, promise. Another building has been added to the Warcraft 3 buildings page, showing the Goblin Merchant. The Goblin Merchant "sells various useful items. The items are set and are available in an unlimited supply".

I know you were waiting for it..another Hero Item has been added to the Warcraft 3 items page. The new item is the Gem of True Seeing, which allows you to see invisible units in Blizzard's upcoming RTS.

A new ability in Warcraft 3 has been unveiled. The Blizzard is an ability of the Human Arch-Mage, one of the Heroes in this upcoming 3D RTS. A new Undead unit has been unveiled as well, the Meatwagon.

There is a Warcraft 3 Q&A on MacWarcraft3, talking to Bill Roper and Rob Pardo of Blizzard about this upcoming 3D Warcraft RTS. 3. Will the B.net model be peer-to-peer or will the server host, like in D2?

We will be using a router model for Warcraft III where the Battle.net servers authenticate and monitor game play. This is different than the Diablo II model in that we will not be running and serving the games, thus requiring fewer resources from the Battle.net servers. The Client/Server model is not effective for Real-Time Strategy games since speed and synchronization are the cornerstones of any RTS network system and too much information needs to be sent between all of the players every second to make use of anything but a peer-to-peer based model.

As you would expect; another day, another Warcraft 3 update. The Blizzard Warcraft 3 site has the Tome of Knowledge, which is another Hero Item in the upcoming 3D RTS.

Another day, another Warcraft 3 update. Blizzard has added info on a Orc Grunt ability, Berserk rage. Warcraft 3 is the upcoming 3D RTS in the Warcraft world.

The Warcraft 3 updates keep flowing on the Blizzard website. Today they have added the Fountain of Life to the list of Neutral Buildings in this upcoming 3D RTS. "The Fountain gives off an aura of regeneration to all units nearby which will regenerate hit points and mana at a fast rate."

The Blizzard Warcraft 3 site has been updated with info on one of the abilities of a Human Footman, Defend. Saw that on Voodoo Extreme.
